Love you from a distance

We only spent a short time together, but it felt like we had known each other for a very long time. Do I want to talk about the connection—the late-night calls, sharing how our day went, the way you express yourself so freely, and so much more? Not to be overly dramatic, but I will say that you are the sweetest girl I know.
Although the spark was there, distance did us no favors. There is little we can do for now except to love each other from afar. It hurts to process the thought that we may never see each other face-to-face again and exchange a warm embrace.
